BL200 – An award winning campaign like no other

Birkett Long is one of the oldest and most respected law firms in Essex. They cover every area of law, with specialist teams for both private and commercial cases. The firm has offices in Colchester, Chelmsford and Basildon, and is heavily involved in their local communities. 2021 marked their 200th anniversary and they wanted to celebrate this impressive milestone in a special way.
We wanted to develop a campaign that would
- Reflect their purpose ”To improve individual lives, businesses and communities”
- Leave a lasting positive impression
- Involve everyone in the firm
The campaign was based on random acts of kindness, the idea being each team would be given a budget for the year that they could choose to reward people for, well, anything really.
The campaign was a huge success with gifts being sent out every week to various people including clients, charities and staff. In fact, there were over 3,226 gifts delivered at a cost of £12,500. That’s a lot of happy people. Another bonus for the marketing team was to be given a business award for the campaign which topped off a very good year.
